No work tomorrow! Yippee!

My cell phone which has a highly responsive capacitative touch screen has caused me a lot of grief. I always end up accidentally accepting requests which I had no intention of accepting and liking stuff which I had no intention of liking!

It’s raining rishtas. I’m feeling confused. Love marriages are so simple. You love someone, you marry that person. Arranged marriages are cold and calculated. There is no love.

– Imam Baqir (as)
I am a chronic procrastinator.
I don’t understand how some shia men are okay with their wives not doing hijab.

Khurafaati joke of the day.
A student at college had failed his final law papers and was obviously not happy, he questioned the professor & decided to make a deal with him ‘professor, do u consider urself to know everything about the law? He asked. ‘Absolutely, otherwise i would not be capable of standing in front of u & lecturing u on the subject’ he replied. The student continued; if u can answer...

My C.E.O reminded me of this law when I was telling him of the harrowing commute I had yesterday!

I once read on an English grammar website that starting your sentences with “And” and “But” is not grammatically incorrect. There was no stopping me from then!

Will it be disrespectful if I recite the Holy Quran lying on my bed? I mean read it to sleep on my cellphone. I usually fall asleep tinkering with my cell (usually aimlessly surfing the Web) and I would rather do something useful. Besides I really feel like reciting the Quran in the night but I’m too tired to get up!

When I was stuck in the train. I was feeling horrible. It was terribly crowded and I was standing as I didn’t get a seat. It was hot and to add to that the train wasn’t even moving. It had stopped in the middle of the tracks and had not moved for almost 40 minutes. Also,I was cursing myself for taking the train instead of a taxi as someone had informed (misinformed) me that the trains...

I went through hell this morning. There was chaos at the railway station because of a fire. Almost 3 million commuters using the central line in Mumbai were affected. The local trains were very late and very, very crowded. I am not kidding when I say that I thought I would fall off the train and die. Infact,a man did have an accident on the tracks today and he lost his leg! I really don’t...
