My sunni friend once asked me why shias cried for Imam Hussain(as).

I told her that we do so because it is the sunnah of the Noble Prophet(sawa).
She was shocked when she heard this.
She said, “I didn’t know that shias followed the sunnah of the Prophet(sawa), this is news to me.”
I thought she was kidding but then I saw her surprised face and realized that she meant it.
In my discussions with Sunnis, I have realized that most of them know nothing about us or whatever information they have is really distorted.
