“Hate no one, no matter how much they’ve wronged you. Live humbly, no matter how wealthy you become. Think positively, no matter how hard life is. Give much, even if you’ve been given little. Keep in touch with the ones who have forgotten you, and forgive who has wronged you, and do not stop praying for the best for those you love.” — ‘Alī ibn Abī Ṭālib (as)

-Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh&f). Today is the birth anniversary of Sayyeda Fatima(sa).

Kindness is a mark of faith, and whoever is not kind has no faith.

Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) (via fairuzaa) (via lebanesebeauty)

I also remember reading a tradition which said that there is no goodness in a house which doesnot have kindness.

The Prophet [s] said, ‘Increase the remembrance of the demolisher of desires.’

He was asked, ‘O Messenger of Allah, what is the demolisher of desires?’

He said, ‘Death, for the most sagacious of believers are those who remember death the most and are the most prepared for it.’

[Bihar al-Anwar, v. 82, p. 167, no. 3]

The Prophet (PBUH): “If a person had a stream outside his door and he bathed in it five times a day, do you think he would have any filth left on him?” The people said, “No filth would remain on him whatsoever.” The Prophet (PBUH) then said: “That is like the five daily prayers: Allah wipes away the sins by them.

Oh Allah! Bestow upon my parents and all those persons who have rights of their blessings and beneficences upon me, the best of Your rewards. Oh my Allah, spare me the leisure and respite for the object for which You have created me. And do not let me be busy and involved (absolutely) in my commitments. And do not torment me when I ask forgiveness. And do not deprive me of what I yearn and question you for.

Allah is beautiful and loves beauty
A young Iranian girl quoted this hadith to justify her nose job!

The Imam replied, “Look at the sun.” The man replied that he could not look at the sun because it was too bright.

Imam Ja’far Al-Sadiq(a.s) replied: “If you cannot see the created, how can you expect to see the creator?”

A person asked: “O’ Prophet! Towards whom should I
exhibit goodness and kindness?”

The Prophet replied: “Towards your
mother.”

The man then asked: “And after that towards whom?”

The Prophet again said: “Your Mother.”

He asked again: “And then?”

Once again, he replied: “Your mother.”

For the fourth time the man asked: “And then?”

This time he said: “(Then towards) Your father.”

It is of the manner of the Prophets to love women.
Imam Jafar as-Sadiq (p.b.u.h)
Knowledge is better than riches, for knowledge takes care of you while you take care of riches. Knowledge judges while riches are judged, and when you spend it, knowledge increases while riches deplete.
Imam Ali bin Abi Talib(p.b.u.h) (via fingularity)

Hazrat Ali (a.s.) was asked: How did you recognize God?

He (a.s.) answered:Through God Himself.

He was asked: How?

He (a.s.) replied:

“I intend to perform an action but later my intention is being changed.

It seems as if someone else has altered it and thus, someone else is my Regulator.

I find that He is Regulating me.”

Do you know what Islam is?

It is indeed a religion founded on truth.
It is such a fountain-head of learning that several streams of wisdom
and knowledge flow from it.
It is such a lamp that several lamps will be lit from it.
It is a lofty beacon of light Illuminating the path of Allah.
It is such a set of principles and beliefs that will fully satisfy every seeker of truth and reality.

Know you all that Allah has made Islam, the most sublime path for the attainment of His supreme pleasure and the highest standard of his worship and obedience.

He has favoured it with noble precepts, exalted principles, undoubtable arguments, unchallengeable supremacy and undeniable wisdom.

It is up to you to maintain the eminence and dignity granted to it by the Lord, to follow it sincerely, to do justice to its articles of faith and belief, to obey implicitly its tenets and orders, and to give it the proper place in your lives.
